When it comes to heritage roofing, there is no substitute for experience and knowledge of historic properties, exposure to weather conditions, specialist materials required and the skills needed to respect the original design.
At Stormforce, we have over two decades of experience restoring the roofs of historic buildings across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and beyond. Our roofers and carpenters have worked on protected historic buildings and played their part in protecting the future of the region’s churches, libraries, schools and other much loved and valued landmarks and properties.
We cover all aspects of repairs, maintenance, restoration and re-roofing with specialist skills in lead bossing and burning; slating and tiling, lead roofing and stone roofing. We also advise on sourcing either original materials or replacement materials which will respect the heritage of the
property. Either way, we’ll carry out our work in a sensitive manner which will demonstrate that these skills and techniques are not a dying trade.
