This project had a lot of issues to overcome with being a listed building and fully occupied. All the slate was stripped and saved for re-use to the front elevations. New lead was installed to the box gutter, parapets and to lead roofs at various locations.
To the rear and sides new natural slate was installed. Timber was CNC’d out to match the existing timberwork on the bell tower and new lead was installed over the base. The building was re-pointed in lime mortar to stay in keeping with new lime plaster and decorations taking place to the internal hall.
